Logan Paul and Jey Uso came to blows on SmackDown (Picture: WWE)
Logan Paul ended WWE SmackDown on top as he knocked out Jey Uso to send a message to Roman Reigns.
The night started so well for The Bloodline after they beat down Sheamus so badly the star was taken to hospital, but things changed by the end of the show as the fascinating story continues to delight with twists and turns.
In the first match of the night, Solo Sikoa – who as accompanied by The Usos and Sami Zayn – used his family to his advantage to beat Sheamus.
It was a brilliantly physical battle as Solo continues to shine on the main roster, and The Bloodline stood tall after a vicious attack on the Celtic Warrior.
At the end of SmackDown, Logan came out and hyped up his changes of landing that one lucky shot on Roman at Crown Jewel, before a sneak attack from Jey laid him out (who had been warned against doing just that).
Sami tried to call him off, but the Honorary Uce’s inadvertent distraction allowed Logan – who has been training with Shawn Michaels this week – to crack Jey with a hard right to stand tall.
This was a fantastic way to show how quickly the YouTuber can turn things around, while the dissention in the ranks of The Bloodline continues to be a fascinating story.
The Tribal Chief will be back on SmackDown next week, and you’ve got to assume he won’t be best pleased with how things went down.
Liv Morgan destroys Sonya Deville, Bray Wyatt delivers a cryptic message and more
Backstage, Bray Wyatt sought to finish his message from last week’s SmackDown return, speaking more in riddles again than he did on his emotional comeback.
He admitted he has ‘problems’, and now he’s back he is going to ‘do horrible, horrible things’ without feeling ‘sorry for them’.
Elsewhere in the show, the sinister Uncle Howdy mask had a warning of its own before revealing a new face, and this storyline has already taken a brilliantly unnerving twist.

Liv Morgan continued to show her newfound aggression, this time welcoming Sonya Deville’s punishing offence before their match ended in a double count out.
After the bell, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion piled steel chairs up in the ring and landed a brutal superplex, hurting herself and her opponent.
Braun Strowman and MVP clashed on the mic as the latter accepting the Monster of All Monsters’ challenge to Omos for Crown Jewel, while the Nigerian Giant came out for a massive face off, and shoved Strowman to the floor in a great visual.

In a backstage segment, Drew McIntyre spoke and revealed he and Karrion Kross will also meet in Saudi Arabia, this time in a Steel Cage Match.
Damage CTRL’s Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai had leader Bayley looking on as they beat Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi in a fun match to retain the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
We also got backstage segments with Ronda Rousey insulting the fans, Legado Del Fantasma hyping their early dominance and Hit Row needing to think things through.
In the final match of the night, Rey Mysterio built some momentum two weeks before he battles GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title.
This time, he found himself battling Ludwig Kaiser, and paid homage to Eddie Guerrero by lying, cheating and stealing his way to a big win as he got Imperium booted from ringside.
WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
