Kate Moss is enjoying the ‘happiest’ time of her life since discovering self-care and putting her party days behind her.
The supermodel has been reinventing herself as a wellness guru with the launch of her Cosmoss brand, and she’s now revealed she’s swapped partying for yoga.
Kate, 48, believes she is much more content since she started ‘taking care’ of herself and spending her time more wisely, after previously being known for her wild nights out in the 1990s and 2000s.
‘Really, when I started to take care of myself, things began to change. They say that self-care is part of self-love. That’s what we all need, that’s what I needed,’ Kate shared.
Reflecting on her younger years in an essay published in ES magazine, she continued: ‘My happy place was being on a dancefloor, that was my absolute idea of happiness. I still love being on the dance floor, but now I want to wake up feeling fresh. I want to wake up and do Pilates or yoga. I think I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.’
However, Kate is adamant she hasn’t changed as a person and is still a ‘hedonist’ (a pleasure-seeker) – she’s just altered her lifestyle.

She went on: ‘The important thing about changing your lifestyle is that you don’t change yourself. I used to be a hedonist and that is still a part of my personality, that hasn’t gone. I definitely like to have fun.
‘It’s good to be multi-faceted and we all have to recognise those different parts of our personality.’
Kate announced the launch of her Cosmoss brand back in August and it’s described as a ‘holistic approach to self-care’ which has been ‘created for life’s modern journeys.’
The company sells products including Dawn and Dusk teas as well as skincare staples such as face cream and cleanser.

Many will remember the days when Kate made headlines for her nightlife antics, including her 2000s cocaine scandal.
In January 2006, the London Metropolitan Police asked her to return from the US to Britain to answer questions about alleged drug-taking in September the previous year.
Kate lost fashion contracts at the time, including with Burberry and Chanel, as the then 31-year-old was photographed checking into a rehabilitation clinic after pictures of her next to lines of white powder were published.
Following contact with police, in June 2006, the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence and the model resumed her career, but had to work hard to build her public image back up.

Kate was subject to a lot of media scrutiny during her party days and was branded ‘Cocaine Kate,’ also dating singer Pete Doherty at the time, who has been open about his own heroin addiction.
However, over 15 years later, it seems not only is she happier than ever, but she’s able to poke fun at her raucous past.
The star was announced as the creative director of the Diet Coke brand earlier this year in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

At the launch party, The Sun reported that she made a light-hearted joke about the cocaine scandal when asked what she thought of her new role.
‘Well, I have always loved coke,’ she is thought to have said.
