Boris Johnson could be on the brink of a sensational comeback to Number 10 following Liz Truss’s resignation, reads the Daily Express. 

The paper says the ex-PM is by far the favourite among grassroots Conservatives to lead the Tory party, but his supporters are fearful of a “stitch-up” to prevent his return to power.
