The 2022 ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup is underway in Australia with the qualifying group stage kicking off a month a dramatic cricket action.
England are not in action during the first week of competition, with the lowest ranked teams including Scotland and Ireland battling it out in qualification for a place in the Super 12 stage where England and the rest of the big boys will enter the competition.
Captain Jos Buttler guided England to a warm-up series victory over Australia before concluding their World Cup preparations with a 6 wicket win over Pakistan.
England will be looking to win their second world title in just over three years following their memorable ODI World Cup success in 2019.
England have won the T20 Cricket World Cup once in their history and are amongst the favourites to add to their trophy cabinet in 2022.

When do England play at the T20 Cricket World Cup?
England have been drawn into Group 1 alongside Australia, New Zealand and Afghanistan.
They will be joined by the winners of qualification Group A and the runners up of qualification Group B.
England will need to finish in the top two places in the group in order to advance through to the semi finals.

England vs Australia (Friday, October 28, 9am)
England vs New Zealand (Tuesday, November 1, 8am)
England vs Group A winner (Saturday, November 5, 8am)

What TV channel are England’s T20 Cricket World Cup matches on?
Every England match will be shown live in the UK on the Sky Sports Cricket channel, with some matches also been shown simultaneously on Sky Sports Main Event.

Sky customers can stream the matches live on the Sky Sports website and on the Sky Go app.
Cricket fans without Sky Sports subscription can watch England play in the T20 World Cup by purchasing a NOW TV day or month pass.
BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Live Extra will also have live coverage of England’s matches in the T20 World Cup.
