Antonio Conte has confirmed that Richarlison will miss Tottenham’s trip to Manchester United on Wednesday.
The forward was subbed off injured in the 52nd minute of Tottenham’s 2-0 home win over Everton on Saturday.
A penalty from Harry Kane on his 400th Spurs appearance and a Pierre Emile Hojbjerg strike were enough to move the Lilywhites to within a point of league leaders Arsenal, with the Gunners set to play Leeds on Sunday.
Up next for Tottenham is a big clash at Old Trafford, but Richarlison will not be making the journey to Manchester, with the Brazilian pictured on crutches in the mixed zone post-Everton.
‘For sure against Manchester United he’s out,’ Conte confirmed post-match.
‘He felt something in his calf and he won’t be available for the game against United and I don’t know but I think he needs a bit of time to recover.
‘It’s a pity because we are talking about a player that gives us a lot of quality, but at the same time also he is strong and improves our intensity.’

The extent of Richarlison’s injury is not known yet, though Conte and co. will be hoping he can recover quickly with a number of important fixtures ahead for Tottenham before the World Cup break.
The injury is another huge blow for Conte given that he is already missing Dejan Kukusevski through a hamstring problem, who is likely to also miss the United game.
‘The problem that Kulusevski has, I think also he needs time to recover and fingers crossed for the next games, because we have to play many, many games in a short period,’ Conte added.
‘And if you have the squad penalised with injuries it becomes a bit difficult, but today we showed that we are ready to overcome every difficulty.’
