Lewis Capaldi managed to drop two swear words on live television during an appearance on The One Show on Friday.
The singer, 26, appeared on the BBC One show where he was due to perform, but ended up turning the air blue after accidentally swearing repeatedly.
After host Alex Jones, 45, congratulated him for topping the charts with his new song Forget Me, to which Lewis responded: ‘Yeah, I’m chuffed to b***ery!
‘It was nerve-wracking, but it’s good to be back, amongst friends, and it’s good to be out of the house!’
The second occurrence happened just moments later while discussing the music video for the track, which is a recreation of Wham’s 1983 video for Club Tropicana.
He told guest host Roman Kemp: ‘Your mum was in it and she looked b***dy good in it, I have to say that!’, to which Roman responded: ‘Please, please stop!’

As Lewis left the sofa to take him spot on the stage to perform, Alex told the audience: ‘We have got to say a quick sorry about the language. I’m sorry if anyone was offended.’
It’s not the first time in recent weeks that Lewis has managed to shock viewers with his words on live TV.
He left BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty red-faced after he misheard what she had said as a sexual remark.

Lewis had told Charlie Stayt: ‘Can I just say, you’ve got great hair. We were talking about it outside,’ to which Naga joked: ‘Would you like a room?’
The singer then responded: ‘I thought you said rim,’ before Naga ended the interview, adding: ‘We’re going to have a little word with Lewis.’
Lewis, who was recently diagnosed Tourette’s syndrome, also responded to an angry fan after his keyboard player swore at the NTAs.
A fan tweeted after the performance aired: ‘Lewis Capaldi’s Keyboard player just Mouthed F*£k off at the camera man!! What an unprofessional little turd.’
Lewis responded: ‘I agree Pete, totally unacceptable, will be having words. Thanks for bringing it to my attention,’ and by ‘words’ it later appeared he meant the middle finger, which he stuck up at his keyboard player on the way home.
