A couple who won a stunning £3million mansion in a prize draw are now selling it less than eight weeks later.

Uttam and Raki Parmar won the luxury eco-mansion after paying just £25 to enter the competition.

But now, the Cornish property is back on the market, and the savvy pair are hoping it sell it for a cool £4million.

The four-bed house which boasts panoramic views of the Camel Estuary was part of an incredible prize that also included £50,000 in cash to help Uttam and Raki settle in.

It also came mortgage free with stamp duty and legal fees covered.

Uttam had entered every Omaze Million Pound House Draw since the company launched the prize draws in 2020 – but finally won big in August.

At the time, Uttam, 58, said: ‘Patience really is a virtue, as I’ve now won my own piece of paradise.

‘I’ve always considered myself a lucky person, firstly because of my wonderful family – but I’ve also won a few bits such as a TV and coffee table – which I was pretty happy with to be honest.

‘I never dreamed I’d win anything as extravagant as a three-million-pound-house.’

But perhaps it was the distance from Leicester, where Uttam and Raki live, that means the house is now back on the market.

And it’s likely that the property will be in high demand.

As well as the stunning views, it’s just a mile a mile away from Rock on the North Cornwall coast. The house is in a quiet and private location, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Outside it has a south-facing, sun-soaked terrace, which is described on RightMove as ‘the perfect place to sit and relax’, as well as a hot tub and an internal courtyard with exposed brick walls featuring a large open fireplace.

The home, sold as a fully furnished property, is described as being a marvel of modern architecture – it has an impressive open plan living space with a state-of-the-art kitchen and dining room.

The main bedroom has its own deluxe bathroom while the other three double bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms.

The house even has a dedicated surf wet room.

It also benefits from being eco-friendly. It has ‘a green roof, low energy sourced building materials and is insulated with blown recycled newspaper.’
