Moment Donald Trump supporter hurls beer can at comedian and she chugs it

A supporter of ex-President Donald Trump threw a beer can at a comedian after presuming she voted for his successor Joe Biden, during a show that quickly lost some of its humor.

The comedian, Ariel Elias, played along with the jokes and remarks though they turned rather ugly, ultimately picking up the can and chugging the booze.

A video of the incident in New Jersey shared by Elias shows a woman in the audience asking her, ‘Did you vote for Donald Trump?’

Elias, a New Yorker whose online bio states she’s a ‘Kentucky Jew’, replies: ‘No. Why would you ask me that in here, knowing I am the only Jew in this room? Are you trying to get me killed?’

The heckler does not stop there, and goes on to say, ‘So you voted for Biden?’

‘I dunno. What does it matter?’ Elias replies.

The guest takes that response as an indication that Elias voted for Trump’s challenger in the 2020 presidential election.

‘Yes, you did!’ the person says. ‘I could just tell by your jokes you voted for Biden.’

At that point, Elias decides to try to take charge of the conversation.

‘I can tell by the fact that you’re still talking when nobody wants you to that you voted for Trump,’ the comedian says.

Elias continues with her act when an object suddenly hurls toward her and slams the brick wall behind her. She is visibly stunned, but goes on to pick up the can.

‘To answer the most obvious question, yes, I did pick up what was left of the beer and chug it,’ she says in a tweet.

Dino Ibelli, the owner of Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club, confirmed that a man who is the partner of the woman who was asking the questions threw the beer can. Ibelli told BuzzFeed News that the man left the comedy club but that he contacted police and the suspect was identified.

Meanwhile, Elias on Sunday shared on Twitter: ‘Fwiw the club is pressing charges against the guy and booked me to come back in April.’

The episode shocked audience members, who could be heard saying, ‘Are you f***ing kidding me?’

Another spectator said: ‘I’m never coming out with this group of people ever again.’
