Sarah Silverman has called out vile anti-Semitic messages directed towards her on Twitter.
The American comedian shared a video of herself searching her name and a slur directed at Jewish people on Twitter, and scrolling down the results.
Many of them show people using the slur towards her, with some of the tweets dating back to 2016.
‘A quick search of my name + k*ke shows me it’s 👌to call Jews K*kes on Twitter,’ she wrote on Instagram.
Many of her followers shared messages of support for her, with comedian Steph Tolev commenting: ‘This is f**king repulsive.’
Andi Oliver said: ‘This is just nauseating!!’ while actress Alison Brie added: ‘This is terrifying.’

Silverman recently spoke out about Kanye West, after he was suspended from Twitter and Instagram after sharing a post deemed to be anti-Semitic.
West is alleged to have written: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE. ‘
He added: ‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’
Twitter has since removed the post in question, with a message instead reading: ‘This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules.’
‘The account in question has been locked due to a violation of Twitter’s policies,’ a Twitter spokesperson told Metro.co.uk in a statement.

Meta, which owns Instagram, confirmed to Metro.co.uk they had ‘deleted content from @kanyewest for violating our policies and placed a restriction on the account.’
However, the spokesperson did not specify which posts had been removed from West’s feed or what the restriction entails.
Silverman argued that not enough people had spoken out about West’s post, writing on Twitter: ‘Kanye threatened the Jews yesterday on twitter and it’s not even trending. Why do mostly only Jews speak up against Jewish hate? The silence is so loud.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Twitter for comment.
