Five Brits captured by Russian-backed forces are safely returned
The Metro says Ten prisoners of war, including five British nationals, have been safely returned home after being captured by Russian-backed forces in Ukraine.
Aiden Aslin, who was sentenced to death by a court in the self-proclaimed Dontesk Peoples Republic, is among the group, his MP has announced.
A video showing them arriving in Saudi Arabia on the way back to their respective countries appears to show Shaun Pinner, who was handed the death penalty alongside Mr Aslin.
But the identities of the former prisoners are yet to be officially confirmed by the British Government.
