Christian Eriksen was in a buoyant mood following Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

The Red Devils star was heavily involved in a contentious moment in the match after Arsenal saw an early Gabriel Martinelli goal chalked off for a foul in the build-up.
Martin Odegaard went in hard on the midfielder in the centre of the park – in full view of the referee – dispossessing him and sending the Gunners on their way to opening the scoring. United players surrounded Paul Tierney in the immediate aftermath, prompting him to review the incident on a pitchside monitor before chalking off the goal.
Odegaard was angry with the decision, saying: “In my opinion, it’s never a foul. For me, it is very, very soft. On the camera, you can always make it look a little bit worse. It’s frustrating.”
