The report warning of an impending crisis in the NHS and social care is picked up on by the Guardian.

The paper highlights the study’s caution that “the greatest workforce crisis” ever is about to hit the sector.

It also amplifies the ongoing conflict in Ukraine which has reached its six-month point and which Guardian correspondent Peter Beaumont – who has been there since day one – describes as “hell”.
