Putin’s missiles rock Kyiv in sudden attack on Ukrainian capital
The Metro says Ukraine’s capital city was rocked by explosions for the first time in over a month today.
A barrage of Russian missiles struck the capital in the early hours of this morning, sending plumes of smoke high into the air.
No deaths have yet been reported, but one person was injured and taken to hospital.
The attack shattered a sense of calm in Kyiv, which had not seen similar strikes since the visit of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on April 28.
