Paul McCartney in ‘show of support’ to Johnny Depp as Amber Heard case nears conclusion
Daily Mirror says Paul McCartney has seemingly given his support to Johnny Depp as the actor awaits the verdict from his costly court case against Amber Heard.
The veteran musician, 79, was performing on stage at Camping World Stadium in Orlando over the weekend as part of his Got Back tour and played a clip of Depp in a video for his track My Valentine.
While it might have just been a simple case of coincidental timing, a number of fans were convinced it was a nod towards the actor’s current case.
TMZ reports that Depp’s image was projected onto the big screens flanking the stage while McCartney performed his hit.
While it’s unknown whether other concerts earlier in the tour had played the song and video too, it’s been confirmed the former Beatles member didn’t play it on his Freshen Up Tour several years ago, leaving many to believe the timing was on purpose.
