Rees-Mogg mocks Rejoiners desperate to find trade drop that doesn’t exist
The Daily Express: The new Brexit Opportunities Minister said trade had been hit by lockdowns and the disruption caused to global trade by Covid more generally, but he denied the idea Britain’s withdrawal from the EU had stunted economic growth. Mr Rees-Mogg, quoted in the BBC, said: “I think Brexit has been extremely beneficial for the country, I think the evidence that Brexit has caused trade drops is few and far between.”
