Liverpool lockdown: Police surround estate as ‘man with weapon’ sparks panic
The Daily Express says Merseyside Police were called after concerns were raised for the safety of a man. Armed officers attended the scene after further reports the man was in possession of an unknown weapon. There is no known link between this incident and the bombing on Sunday, November 14.
Merseyside Police have said no injuries or threats have been reported to the public.
In a statement, they said: “At around 6.10am this morning (Thursday 18 November) officers were called to report of a concern for safety for a man on Bowland Drive in Liverpool.
