Cops hunt convicted killer, 54, who escaped open prison HMP Leyhill as public urged to stay away from him
The Sun says POLICE are hunting a convicted killer who has escaped from an open prison – with the public being urged to stay away from him.
Marcus Coates, 54, who was jailed in 2012 for manslaughter, has disappeared from HMP Leyhill in Gloucestershire.
Police are now warning Brits to keep their distance if they see him – and to immediately call emergency services.
He’s described as white, male, about 5ft 10ins, with blue eyes and receding mousey brown hair.
