Rust director Joel Souza out of hospital after accidental Alec Baldwin shooting

The Daily Mirror says Rust director Joel Souza is now out of hospital following an accidental shooting on the set in New Mexico involving Alec Baldwin.

Kate Garraway confirmed the good news on Friday’s Good Morning Britain as they discussed the ongoing story.

“We’ve just got a little bit of news on the breaking news we’ve been bringing you all morning,” Kate began.

“The director who was also injured, Joel Souza, was taken to hospital, well we’ve just heard that he is now out of hospital, so no further details on what his condition is at the moment, but the fact that he’s been released from hospital feels more positive than what it seemed earlier.”
