Prince Harry’s GQ vaccine speech was ‘all the things we wanted to say’ Oxford jab creator says
The i says the scientists who helped develop the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine have praised Prince Harry’s comments urging governments to inoculate poorer countries.
Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert and Professor Catherine Green were honoured with the heroes of the year prize during last night’s 2021 GQ Men of the Year Awards at the Tate Modern.
Dame Sarah – the leader of the team which first developed the Oxford vaccine – previously told i that protecting UK children should not be the priority given that they rarely become seriously ill from coronavirus.
