Kanye West, Donda, review: Moments of wonder mired in overthinking
The i says in the same way that tomorrow never comes, it was starting to feel like Kanye West’s much trailed 10th album Donda never would.
Despite large scale listening events and a revolving door of increasingly problematic guests, the album was first trailed in summer 2020 and was then scheduled for a calendar’s worth of release dates before being sort-of surprise dropped today.
