Brexit LIVE: Stubborn Macron demands EU orders UK to accept hated fishing deal
The Daily Express: EMMANUEL MACRON has rejected any chance of renegotiating the hated Brexit fishing deal while vowing to be a crucial ally to Micheál Martin, the Irish Taoiseach.
During a visit to Dublin on Thursday, Mr Macron insisted the EU will remain united over the fisheries agreement. Despite the deal crippling UK fishermen, Mr Macron warned all agreements signed during Brexit negotiations must be complied with. Mr Macron said: “It is an existential issue for the solidarity and the unity of the European Union.
