Driver accused of killing Harry Dunn ‘could have been on phone during crash’
The Metro says: A CIA officer’s wife could have been ‘distracted by her phone’ moments before crashing into teenager Harry Dunn and killing him, lawyers claim.
Anne Sacoolas has been ‘evasive’ and ‘inconsistent’ when questioned about her phone and its data, according to court documents.
Lawyers representing Mr Dunn’s family in a civil damages claim in the US say no calls or texts were found on the suspect’s SIM card on the day of the crash in August 2019.
But call records were found the day before and the day after, and Sacoolas has not denied deleting data from her phone, nor has she explained the absence of any data that day, the court heard.
