Team GB super-heavyweight Frazer Clarke fight abandoned after suffering gruesome cut
The Daily Express says: Frazer Clarke’s Olympic Games are over, with the super-heavyweight fighter earning a bronze medal in Tokyo.
Team GB boxing hero Fraser Clarke suffered Olympic heartbreak in the super-heavyweight semi-final on Wednesday morning in Tokyo. A gruesome cut opened above his right eye in the quarter-final, and re-opened in the semi-final, with Uzbekistan’s Bakhodir Jalolov heading through to the final.
