House of Gucci: Lady Gaga’s fashion from film trailer
Film fans were ecstatic about the trailer release of the highly-anticipated House of Gucci film starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, Jared Leto and Al Pacino.
The trailer has given fans a glimpse into the epic and over-the-top fashions, accents and drama which covers three decades of Italy’s Gucci family. The actors are seen wearing some incredible clothes from the 1970s through the 1990s.
The film’s costume designer Janty Yates had been given full access to the Gucci archive, with the luxury Italian house cooperating with the production team.
House of Gucci is based on the story of Reggiani, who grew up in a poor family in Northern Italy. After her mother married a wealthy businessman, Patrizia followed in her footsteps by marrying Maurizio Gucci, played by Driver. When he divorced her, Patrizia hired a hitman to have him murdered in 1995. After serving 18 years in prison, she was awarded millions of dollars from her ex-husband’s estate. – Variety
Directed by Ridley Scott, House of Gucci opens on Nov. 24.

Luxe Ski Looks
The internet went wild when photos were released from the film featuring Adam Driver and Lady Gaga in luxe ski looks. Driver rocked a cozy cream-coloured Aran pullover, recalling the “Knives Out” cable-knit moment, along with aviator glasses.
Gaga is pictured wearing a white fur Cossack hat, a snug black turtleneck and plenty of jewellery.
Ski Goggles
Gaga is seen in the trailer on the slopes and a variety of ski fashions were on display. She is seen here wearing Christian Dior ski goggles and a belted burgundy ski suit while sipping an espresso and uttering a line that will become a classic, “I don’t consider myself to be a particularly ethical person, but I am fair.”
All That Glitters Is Gold
Gaga is seen with big hair wearing a gold shimmering sequin party dress with a built-in jewellery neckline.
Lace Looks
Gaga is seen in a stunning white strapless lace dress with a matching jacket and black belt in an effortlessly cool Gucci family moment.
Gucci statement
Gaga crosses herself intoning “Father, son and House of Gucci” in this scene with Leto, wearing an ’80s-style pink and black polka dot puffed sleeve dress with a huge statement collar necklace and plenty of rings.
Gucci in New York
Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci lived in a luxurious Manhattan penthouse in the early 1980s, and in this scene in the trailer, it looks like they took full advantage of the city’s nonstop nightlife at clubs like Studio 54. Here Lady Gucci cuts loose in a sequined halter dress and even more jewellery than usual, as colourful clubgoers look on.
Murder in Mink
Gaga is swathed in mink over a dress that’s an authentic Gucci design, made from canvas printed with the fashion house’s distinctive logo and trimmed in leather and horse-bit hardware. A similar dress can be seen at the Gucci archive.
