Duffy offers up first new music since shocking rape reveal
Music-News says Duffy returns with a new song after almost a decade away from the industry. She offered up her first song since revealing she was raped and held captive during a now-deleted Instagram post.
The 35-year-old Welsh singer uploaded ‘Something Beautiful’ for the attention of BBC Radio’s Jo Whiley, suggesting she play it on her daily show.
In a candid Instagram post, she said she had intended to offer up a spoken-word interview, detailing the ordeal that forced her away from music a decade ago. But she found it too difficult.
“Hi Jo,” her note began. “Hope you are well and keeping safe. Wanted to send you this to play on the radio, if you want. You may have read the words I wrote a few weeks back, I do feel freer. Tried to follow up with a spoken interview, but it’s harder than I thought, I will follow up in writing soon.”

What Hollywood is planning to do with its delayed movie releases
Screen-Rant says a new report examines what film studios are planning to do with movies that have seen their release date delayed by Covid-19. The outbreak has had a massive impact on the entertainment industry. Cinemas are shutting across the globe and several films have been indefinitely postponed.
Films such as Fast & Furious 9 and No Time to Die have seen new release dates scheduled as far as a year away from now. However, the vast majority of them are waiting to receive one at a later point in time.
Given the fluid nature of the pandemic, studios are hesitant to reschedule their films until they have a better understanding of when life will go back to normal.
Because studios schedule their films years in advance, the release calendar is already full for the rest of 2020. But there are a few ways for Hollywood to work around it.

Daniel Radcliffe praises his parents, talks substance abuse
WTX News says Daniel Radcliffe hit the big screen at the tender age of 11 in the title role in the Harry Potter film series.
There was, of course, a risk of the child actor going off-the-rails. But Radcliffe says staying in the UK and his supportive parents helped him stay grounded after he became famous.
Radcliffe says he understands why other child actors have had substance issues in the years following their youthful stardom.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, Radcliffe said: “I think a huge problem for a lot of people is they get into a situation where they start doing something when they’re 10,” he told presenter Lauren Laverne.
