Harvey Weinstein handed over for transfer to California to face more sexual assault charges
The i says convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein has been handed over for transfer to California to face additional sexual assault charges, after a failed bid to prevent his extradition.
The disgraced Hollywood film producer is already serving a 23-year sentence in a New York state prison for rape and sexual assault, and faces a series of additional charges in California.
He will be taken to the West Coast after Los Angeles prosecutors charged the 69-year-old with further allegations of sexual assault.
