Prove that people need a third vaccine dose, US tells Pfizer
The Times says US health officials have asked Pfizer to provide more evidence to justify its call for fully vaccinated people to be given a third shot of its coronavirus vaccine.
Pfizer’s top scientists met leading government medical officials on Monday to try to persuade them that a third shot of the vaccine can boost antibodies and protect against mutations of the virus, including the Delta variant.
