Boris Johnson and Prince William cheered alongside tens of thousands at Wembley as England won a spot in Sunday’s Euro 2020 final.

The Metro says Millions across the country are celebrating after The Three Lions beat Denmark 2-1 on Wednesday night.

The prime minister tweeted that the team had ‘played their hearts out’ in a ‘fantastic performance’.

He posted a picture of himself wearing a personalised England shirt with ‘Boris’ on the back as he made his way to the stadium earlier on.
