Second man charged after Chris Whitty accosted in London park
The Guardian says a second man has been charged with common assault and obstructing police after England’s chief medical officer, Prof Chris Whitty, was accosted in a central London park, the Metropolitan police said.
Jonathan Chew, 24, of no fixed address, was charged on Monday and will appear at Westminster magistrates court on Tuesday.
