Lockdown easing: All Covid rules including face masks and distancing to end on 19 July as vaccine gap cut
The i says England must reopen in the coming weeks to ensure that any fresh wave of Covid-19 takes place over the summer rather than winter when pressure on the NHS will increase, Boris Johnson said on Monday.
The Prime Minister confirmed all remaining rules will be removed at the next stage of the lockdown roadmap, which could prompt a further increase in coronavirus infections, and promised to speed up vaccinations with all adults getting their second dose eight weeks after their first.
