The Metro says Boris Johnson has unveiled plans for England’s long-awaited ‘Freedom Day’ following 15 months of harsh Covid restrictions for people across the nation.
The prime minister’s new five-point plan marks a step away from legal restrictions as people will be allowed to make personal choices on coronavirus safety.
An announcement on whether the Government’s four tests for unlocking have been met won’t come for another week.
