The Daily Express: Brits ‘cannot become complacent’ in run up to July 19 amid Lambda variant fears
HEALTH OFFICIALS have warned Brits not to “become complacent” as the nation approaches Freedom Day.
After an additional week of lockdown, ministers and health experts believe the latest data shows that “things are looking good” and suggest the UK’s fantastic vaccination programme is once again paying off.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, Dr Jenny Harries, chief executive of the UK Health Security Agency, urged the public not to get careless as we approach the expected end of lockdown on July 19.
