Euro 2020: England stars all test negative for Covid-19 after contact with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour
The Mirror says England’s players have all tested negative for Covid-19 after their contact with Scotland’s Billy Gilmour on Friday night.
The 26-man squad all returned their negative test results on Sunday, 48 hours after coming face-to-face with Scotland youngster Gilmour, who was confirmed to have picked up the virus in a statement from the Scottish FA on Monday.
There were concerns that Gilmour’s Chelsea teammates Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell could have been infected after they were seen exchanging hugs with the young midfielder after the goalless draw.
