More than 700,000 vaccine appointments booked in one day as over-18s rush to get jabs
The i says bookings for coronavirus vaccine appointments soared as jabs were offered to all over-18s for the first time, with more than 700,000 booked via the NHS website in one day.
The scramble was sparked on Friday as the NHS announced that everyone over the age of 18 can now book a Covid-19 vaccine in England.
