Judge rules staff off sick can visit pubs

The Times says for some people on sick leave, the temptation to sneak to the pub for a crafty drink is too great to resist. Now, a judge’s ruling suggests they needn’t fear being spotted.

An employment tribunal in Newcastle has been told that staff on sick leave are entitled to visit their local.
