Kuwaiti Minister of Health – Covid will remain with us until Judgement day

Kuwaiti Health Minister Dr. Basil Al-Sabah said, during his session at the National Assembly session yesterday, that the Coronavirus pandemic will not end and will remain until Judgment Day (referring to the end of time).

The Kuwaiti Al-Qabas newspaper quoted Al-Sabah as saying the only way to protect it from it is immunization from the virus that causes “Covid 19”.

He added: All children will not be able to receive the vaccine, and other groups will not receive the vaccine, but some measures will limit its spread.

    Kuwaiti finances in ruins

The Gulf state has been hit hard by falling oil prices and the COVID-19 pandemic. And is now facing short-term liquidity risks, mainly because the Kuwaiti parliament has not authorised government borrowing.

The cabinet submitted a draft bill to parliament last week that would allow it to withdraw up to 5 billion dinars ($16.54 billion) per year from the country’s Future Generations Fund.
