80s punk legends announce huge tour – with iconic rock band supporting

The Offspring sent fans into meltdown as they confirmed a worldwide tour, kicking off next year.

The legendary punk band, first formed in 1984, will be hitting the road for the Supercharged tour in 2025, including five dates in the UK.

The You’re Gonna Go Far Kid icons – currently made up of Bryan ‘Dexter’ Holland, Noodles, Todd Morse, Jonah Nimoy and Brandon Pertzborn – are set to be joined by rockers Simple Plan, who are serving as their support act.

They will be heading to the UK and Ireland at the end of the tour, performing in Cardiff on November 10, before jetting to Dublin, london and Manchester, with their final date set for November 18 in Glasgow.

If you want tickets, you may need to hurry as they go on sale at 10am local time on Friday, October 18.

The group confirmed their Supercharged performances on Instagram this week, sharing the planned dates with fans.

‘SUPERCHARGED WORLDWIDE IN ‘25 is coming to Europe and the United Kingdom next fall with special guest @simpleplan,’ the post read.

‘Tickets go on sale Friday, October 18th @ 10am local time.’

The official Simple Plan Instagram account was among the first to reply, penning: ‘Let’s go!! We can’t wait to be back in Europe & the UK with our friends @offspring! It’s gonna be rad! [sic].’

‘We have to wait ONE YEAR for this?!? 2025 can’t come fast enough,’ Chuck Comeau, Simple Plan’s drummer, commented.

Francesca.r.c yelled: ‘YOU BETTER BET ILL BE THERE [sic].’

Steph.lx penned: ‘One more year one more year one more year.’

As Alex_Kimptown_18 added: ‘OH MY GOD I can’t wait!! Simple plan in the uk 4 years in a row will be my 4th time seeing you!!’

Dexter originally formed the group in the 1980s alongside Greg K and James Lilja, with Noodles – aka Kevin Wasserman – joining in 1985.

They dropped their debut self-titled album in 1989, before dropping Ignition, Smash, Ixnay on the Hombre and Americana over the years.

The Offspring’s tour announcement comes just days after they released their 11th studio album, Supercharged.

Unpacking their huge bond, which spans decades, Noodles previously told People Magazine: ‘Brothers, friends, bitter enemies at times.

‘No, we do have our disagreements and our arguments usually around stuff that has nothing to do with music.

‘But ultimately we have a lot of mutual respect for each other and love for each other.

‘I think in the long run, Dexter and I always loved doing what we do. I’ve always been really appreciative of his songwriting, and I love the time we spend in the studio, but then taking the songs out and playing them live for fans, that’s the greatest feeling in the world.’
