The first week of December proves eventful in all corners of soapland (Picture: BBC / ITV / Amazon Freevee / Lime Pictures)
Preparations for the festive season prove to be the last thing on the residents of our favourite soaps’ minds next week, with December getting off to quite a start!
The festive season is the subject of much discussion in EastEnders but with the aftermath of this week’s shocking events of the cards, plus a huge secret uncovered, there’s little to smile about in Walford.
The viewers, however, will certainly be grinning, with more unmissable drama on the horizon as the BBC One soap ups the ante ahead of its highly-anticipated Christmas outing.
Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees Evelyn Plummer left in serious danger when she crosses paths with a horrid passerby while Emmerdale continues to explore Tracy Metcalfe and Caleb Milligan’s affair.
But will they get caught out?
Over in Hollyoaks, Lucas Hay continues to struggle and Dillon Ray proves supportive but shocking scenes ensue, while Neighbours sees Susan Kennedy make a huge decision as the protest at Erinsborough High gets underway.
For all this and more Metro.co.uk has all the spoilers for next week’s soaps so let’s get stuck in.
