    2023 Women’s World Cup: The Stadiums – Brisbane Stadium

    Brisbane Stadium is a world-class sports stadium built for football and rugby and only 3kms from the Brisbane/ Meaanjin CBD. 

    The stadium will host eight games at the upcoming World Cup. 

    Where is Brisbane Stadium? 

    Brisbane Stadium is located in Milton, just 3 km from the Brisbane CBD and 15 km from Brisbane Airport. As with most Brisbane events, public transport is the best and cheapest way to get to the stadium during FIFA Women’s World Cup.

    FIFA World Cup 2023 fixtures

    Eight games will take place at Brisbane Stadium during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023. Five of those will come during the group stage – including Australia’s matchday two meeting with Nigeria – while the Play-off for third place will round off the arena’s three knockout fixtures.

    European champions England will take to the pitch against Haiti to kick off the stadium’s tournament, before France and Brazil do battle in Group F on 29 July.

    Nigeria will return to Brisbane to face Republic of Ireland on matchday three of Group B, and two-time winners Germany will take on Korea Republic in Group H.

    The winners of Group D will then take on the runners-up of Group B in the Round of 16 on 7 August, with a quarter-final set to follow five days later. The two losing semi-finalists will battle it out for the bronze medal to bring down the curtain for this venue on 19 August.

    General Information:

    Food and beverage options will be available and can be purchased using card payment only.

    There will be merchandise stores in the precinct surrounding the stadium, located near Gate C and Gate A/B, whilst merchandise outlets will also be available in stadium to kit yourself out and accept card payments only.

    Public Gates open two (2) hours prior to kick off and we encourage you to arrive early to enjoy activations and for smooth entry into your seat.

    If you have a Hospitality ticket, your entry gates are Gates A, C or E. Please follow all signage to hospitality areas and ask for assistance if required.

    There is also an information desk inside Gate A/B and Gate D/E for your convenience.
