Coronation Street serves up a range of twists and turns next week and you can sneak a peek of all the drama to come in Metro’s newest gallery, featuring 14 pictures.
The ITV soap has confirmed a sordid affair for Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn), who happens to be her husband Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) biggest hero.
The storyline in question, which has been teased on screen already, gets underway next week as Steve leaves for France in a taxi, upset at the prospect of missing out on spending time with Tommy, who is decorating No. 1 in his absence.
Tommy’s presence on the eponymous street certainly gets tongues wagging, with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment) all fawning over him, while Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) comments on how sexy the former footballer looks in his overalls.
Is it getting a bit hot in here? Just us? Okay then, let’s carry on.
Tommy is certainly attracting a lot attention but he makes it quite clear that he’s only interested in one person and that’s Tracy, admitting that he fancies her. As my pictures confirm, the pair subsequently share a kiss as sparks begin to fly.

Elsewhere, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) proves rather evasive with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) over an article she’s working on and when Daniel invites her to tea she turns him down, making out that she’s working to a deadline.
