With huge discoveries aplenty, the land of soap is packing the punches this week as we inch closer to the festive season.
The pieces of the puzzle are very much starting to fall into place in EastEnders, with more shocking developments on the cards that will likely tie into the Christmas storyline, which will see one resident perish.
Nish Panesar is left seething in upcoming scenes as he discovers wife Suki’s affair with Eve Unwin and sets about taking action while Emmerdale sees David Metcalfe bid farewell to the eponymous village after 17 years.
Hollyoaks, meanwhile, lines up more drama for Lucas Hay while Neighbours sees the ice start to thaw between Toadie Rebecchi and Melanie Pearson.
There are also shocks on the cards on the cobbles, with Coronation Street lining up a shock poisoning story for one resident, leaving his loved ones in shock.

Suki is panicked when she realises Priya knows a shocking truth, agreeing to pay her off for her silence. Nish, however, secretly watches the exchange and later intercepts the cash exchange, with Priya covering with a convincing lie.
Priya blackmails Suki after she only receives £200 from the Minute Mart till, reminding her that she’ll blab if she doesn’t get the full amount. After Vinny informs him about the missing cash, Nish checks the CCTV and is horrified to see footage of Suki and Eve kissing. Enraged, the villain spills all to Ravi, determined to find out the truth.
Toadie finally sees sense and lets Mel in in Neighbours

Melanie goes for a police interview without her lawyer present. Nell pleads with Toadie to intervene but he shows little concern, that is until Mel offers to attend one of Nell’s therapy sessions and thus he softens towards her and arranges for her case to be assigned one of the best legal aid lawyers in the city.

Joseph is unwell and, on Bernie’s advice, Gemma makes him a lavender tea in the hopes it will perk him up. Joseph, however, passes out, with Chesney calling the ambulance, as he blames himself, wishing he’d listened to Gemma. The doctor, meanwhile, reveals that Joseph has been poisoned.

Lucas suddenly falls sick after a text from Dillon, who says he’ll see him at the football training. James, however, is intrigued by his behaviour and pushes him, with Lucas making a shock revelation, involving bullying claims which Dillon denies. Lucas later admits that he lied, but the question is: why?
David gets the shock of his life and leaves Emmerdale

David’s birthday arrives but the attention is on Jacob, who is dodging questions about who his mystery girlfriend is, allowing everyone to believe that Gabby is the woman in question. David, however, gets the shock of his life when he sees Jacob and Victoria kissing through the window. Rocked by a number of shocks, David decides to leave the village he’s called home for over a decade.

Stacey goes to see Theo ahead of his plea hearing, trying to manipulate him into pleading guilty by agreeing to restart their ‘relationship’ if he does so. Theo, however, reacts badly.

Ed is shocked when Sarge arrives early. Ronnie, meanwhile, suggests a big family meal out, insisting that he and Ed will pick up the bill. Having taken out a payday loan, Ed scans the racing pages and later watches the racing on his phone while Sarge makes digs. Dee-Dee quietly explains to Joel that Sarge thinks they lost their house because of a bad business decision, not Ed’s gambling. Having lost his bet Ed sweats. Ronnie pays for lunch, telling Ed he can give him half later. Ed finds Tony and admits he can’t pay him because he’s a gambling addict and has lost all his money.
Mack falls apart after Chloe’s cruel revenge in Emmerdale

With Chloe having absconded with his son, Mack is at his wit’s end, having spent the whole night searching for her. Desperate for answers, he confronts Amy and Matty, who are shocked by how low he is. Charity is quick to reassure an emotional Mack that they will get Reuben back and encourages him to stay on Amy’s good side.

Karen is shocked when she finds out Mitch has organised a surprise party for her, but things spiral out of control when Malcolm arrives, with Albie taking a shine to him. After chatting to Sharon, Malcolm comes to realise the truth about Karen and Keanu’s kidnapping plot and is disgusted.
Sienna and Rafe get engaged in Hollyoaks

With the truth about Camilla’s affair with Nadira out, Rafe decides to pop the question to Sienna, who excitedly accepts. Ethan, meanwhile, tries to propose to Sienna, but he’s set to be left heartbroken once more.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One. Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV. Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV.
