With the fallout of a deadly storm and a shock diagnosis on the cards, this week will be one that will have long-standing effects in soapland for months – if not years – to come.
Emmerdale will pick up from where it left off, as its residents attempt to come to terms with the events of the previous week, but with Samson Dingle still missing, it’s likely that all eyes will be out looking.
Will the teen be okay?
Over in Coronation Street, Eileen Grimshaw suffers a devastating accident, and she’s a completely different person afterwards, while EastEnders sees Lola Pearce receive a shock diagnosis.
Hollyoaks, meanwhile, deals with the aftermath of Mason Chen-Williams discovering that Eric Foster is the village’s spiker, but as Eric formulates a plan to stop him from spilling the beans, will Mason find himself in danger?

Eileen suffers a shock accident in Coronation Street

Eileen is upset over Glenda treating her home like a workshop when she rocks up with a huge pumpkin to carve, and thus she storms our of the house – with Glenda’s pumpkin in tow! Tragedy strikes, however, as she collides with Gail, trips over the pumpkin and knocks herself out! Afterwards, her gentle and nice demeanour worries George, but Eileen explains how, when she came round after her accident, she caught a glimpse of heaven and ever since, she’s felt calm and peaceful.
Lola receives a shock diagnosis in EastEnders

Lola helps Lexi get ready for the pageant, with Felix offering to fix her dress for her. Things take a turn for the worse, as Lola collapses due to a seizure, and after a CT scan, she’s told that she has a tumour which may be cancerous.
Chas encourages Aaron to leave in Emmerdale to hide her sordid secret

Chas is concerned that Aaron will blow her and Al’s big secret, but when he backs down, she edges him towards leaving the village. Paddy, however, is upset by Aaron’s decision to leave, and soon enough he starts to worry that something is going on.

Ravi conducts a business meeting with Stacey, and later tries to kiss her. Eve, meanwhile, informs Kheerat that Ranveer tried to sexually assault Suki, which leads him to a realisation. Stacey, however, tells Kheerat that Ravi tried to kiss her, and he sees red. The two men subsequently come to blows, as their fight spills outside.
