Seven dead after vehicle crashes in Bavaria
A crowded minivan driven by a suspected people-smuggler, overturned in Germany, killing at least seven people.
More than 20 migrants, including children, are thought to have been in the van.
The accident has come amid a rise in people-smuggling which has led several Central and Eastern European countries to impose border checks. There has also been a rise in crashes involving people smuggling in European countries.
The authorities have said the driver attempted to evade police at a road check before he lost control near Ampfing in Bavaria.
The driver had accelerated before rolling over several times at a junction on the A94 motorway between the Austrian border and Munich.
