Olivia Pratt-Korbel: Former drug dealer questioned in Liverpool shooting death
The man who was the intended target of a gunman in the shooting that killed nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel is due to face more questioning.
Olivia was shot as two men forced their way into her home, one with a gun, attempting to shoot the first man who had forced his way into the house.
Neither men have any links to Olivia or her family. It is believed the intended victim had rushed into Olivia’s house when her mum opened the door to see what was happening outside.
The intended victim, who is in hospital recovering, has been named as Joseph Nee, 35 – a convicted drug dealer.
Police say he is in a stable condition and was detained in hospital. He will be “further questioned” in connection with Olivia’s death.
Police said, in the hunt for the gunman, officers had been given the same name by two different sources.
