Hong Kong sentenced 45 pro-democracy activists under its national security law, with Benny Tai receiving 10 years, the longest term yet. Charged for a 2020 informal poll aiming for electoral majority, organizers, including Au Nok-hin and Andrew Chiu, were jailed up to seven years. Beijing imposed the law in 2020. Source link
