AFGHANISTAN WAR: DEADLY TALIBAN ATTACK ‘DESTROYS’ HOSPITAL

BBC News reports at least 10 people have died after a truck packed with explosives was detonated by the Taliban Afghanistan war: Deadly Taliban attack ‘destroys’ hospitaloutside a hospital in southern Afghanistan. Local Media says many of the victims were doctors and patients. The Taliban have said they were targeting government intelligence offices, next door to the hospital.

CANADA’S TRUDEAU ADMITS TO RACIST ‘BROWNFACE’ MAKEUP

Aljazeera says Candian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has apologised following the publication of a photograph that Canada’s Trudeau admits to racist ‘brownface’ makeup showed him wearing brownface makeup. The picture, taken 18 years ago, was published by Time magazine on Wednesday. Just one week into a federal election campaign. The election is scheduled to take place on October 21. Trudeau, 47 has already been under pressure over a corruption scandal and other controversies.

26 CHILDREN DIE IN LIBERIA BOARDING SCHOOL FIRE

CNN says twenty-six children have died after a fire broke out in a boarding school in a suburb outside the Liberian 26 children die in Liberia boarding school fire capital Monrovia. The children were sleeping when a building attached to a mosque at the school caught fire. The fire started at around 11 pm. The children were not able to escape because there was no fire exit. And there were security steel bars on the window. Liberia’s President George Weah said: I was touched by the terrible news and decided to rush here to see for myself the families of the children and the community leadership to extend my sympathy.” An investigation has been launched into what caused the fire.
