PM: I’ll ‘HOLD OUT THE HAND’ AND ‘GO THE EXTRA THOUSAND MILES’ TO GET NEW BREXIT DEAL

BBC News reports, PM Boris Johnson pledged that he will “hold out the hand” and “go the extra thousand miles” to get a new Brexit deal. The PM described the current withdrawal agreement as “dead” and added it has “got to go.” The PM remains optimistic the UK can strike a new agreement.PM will fight for a new deal, remains optomisitc despite EU not shifting  

Prime Minister Johnson says the UK must leave the EU by the 31 October with or without a deal as plans are being drawn up for a possible no-deal Brexit. Scotland’s First Minister said Johnson has set the UK on an “almost inevitable path to a no-deal Brexit.”

On his first visit to Scotland as Prime Minister, Mr Johnson said his “assumption is that we can get a new deal”, but said it was “responsible for any government to prepare for no-deal if we absolutely have to.”

GAY WOMAN UNLAWFULLY DEPORTED FROM UK IS BLOCKED FROM RETURNING TO THE UK AFTER HOME OFFICE FAILS TO ISSUE HER WITH DOCUMENTATION

The Independent reports, A 26-year-old gay woman who was unlawfully deported from the UK was blocked from returning to the UK. The woman was told by airline staff that she would not be able to board the UK bound flight as the Home Office had failed to provide written evidence of her waived visa. LGBT women unlawfully deported from the UK

Speaking to The Independent, the Ugandan national told her ordeal of being gang-raped and the trauma of the birth of her child as a result of the sexual assault. She said since 2013, she has lived in fear of being sent back to Uganda.

Earlier this month, the High Court ordered the government to help her return to the UK saying its decision to reject her asylum claim had been unlawful. The High Court believed the decision had been reached by an unfair process which did not give her enough time to obtain evidence.

WOMAN ARRESTED FOR HOMOPHOBIC ABUSE DURING A LONDON PRIDE MARCH

The Guardian reports, a 38-year-old woman has been arrested after she shouted homophobic abuse at people during a Pride march in East London. woman arrested for homophobic abuse

The footage posted on social media shows the woman wearing a black niqab and shouting “shame on you” at Pride participants. The woman repeatedly shouted “you despicable people” adding “God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.”  

The Met Police confirmed today a woman has been arrested and taken into police custody in North London.
