The British Dietetic Association said stores including Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s were being “unhelpful” and “confusing” customers while the Royal Society for Public Health called for an independent supermarket watchdog.

Apparently, there is confusion over those who constantly watch their weight or embark on the latest faddy diet.

The truth is very simple – if you want to lose weight eat less. It’s not rocket science just common sense, folks.
