The 70th Emmy Awards opened with a celebrity song-and-dance skit spearheaded by longtime “SNL” cast members Kate McKinnon and Kenan Thompson.

The 2018, 70th annual Emmy Awards hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che! who were introduced on stage by “SNL” cast members Kate McKinnon and Kenan Thompson.  The show was packed with #MeToo jokes were made, diversity was lampooned, and interns were paraded.

The Emmy’s have a total of 122 categories, the less high profile awards were given out last weekend at the Creative Arts Emmys, with 26 awarded on Monday night.
