The Champions League draw has taken place at 17:00 PM (BST) in Monaco and below is a summary of the draw with a complete list of the group tables at the bottom.
Things to know Before we dig in:
- Six British clubs are in the group stage for the first time since 2007-08
- The first time there have been five English sides
- Pot 1: Chelsea; Pot 2: Manchester City and Manchester United;
- Pot 3: Tottenham and Liverpool; Pot 4: Celtic
- English teams cannot be drawn against each other
Tottenham will face holders Real Madrid in the group stage of the Champions League. Spurs were drawn in Group H alongside Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Apoel of Cyprus.
Scottish champions Celtic face a tough test in a group with Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain and Anderlecht.
Premier League champions Chelsea have been drawn to play Atletico Madrid, Roma and Qarabag in Group C.
Europa Cup winners Manchester United face Benfica, Basel and CSKA Moscow in Group A.
Manchester City, who finished third in the Premier League last season, are up against Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli and Feyenoord in Group F.
Liverpool, who beat Hoffenheim, will meet Spartak Moscow, Sevilla and Maribor in Group E.
Fortunately all English clubs managed to avoid the group of death ‘D’ With Juventus, Barcalona and Olympiakos.
